Why do Scorpios attract awful people?

As we are all aware, Scorpios are water signs which mean they are highly sensitive, emotional & intuitive. When we humans, just meet someone we instantly like for reasons we can't explain, what we are attracted to is their potential (among other things like vibrations etc.).

Scorpios are able to spot someone's potential quickly, through body language, tone of language, speech pattern, and other nonverbal cues. Scorpio may recklessly fall in love with the idea of a person, ignoring the red flags while foolishly believing they will fade with time.

So to answer your question on why Scorpios attract awful people… it's not that Scorpio attracts horrible people, Scorpio attracts their opposite. A typical example would be the Scorpio - Gemini mix. These two are quite the opposites and approach the world differently. Yet it's in their differences that they find each other intriguing and exciting (at least in the beginning anyway).

***Side Note*** this response was written, taking only the Sun sign into account. When you take into account all the other planets, you can come to a more concise answer on why YOU attract awful people. I am also a Scorpio, but I attract pretty neat people, occasionally there are a few bad apples in the bunch, but for the most part, I can spot an “awful” person from a mile away, and I'll choose to avoid that person if possible.
